Doraha (Crossroad) by Umera Ahmed is a Pakistani Drama Television series which premiered on Geo Entertainment on October 17, 2008. It is an adaptation of an Urdu novel Mein Ne Khawabon Ka Shajar Dekha Hai. The serial is produced by Humayun Saeed and Abdullah Kadwani's production house 7th Sky Entertainment and directed by Mehreen Jabbar, who won Lux Style Award Best TV Director (2010) for this Drama. DORAHA is based on a story that whirl around two women and a man- in a fight between the good and the evil, between freedom and values, between love and want- desire and dreams. A dramatic twist and turn of fate, fortune and fight in this love-triangle. Initially Basaat was written as a novel but then converted into Drama form for TV Serial. Basaat Drama is based on daily life characters who have some qualities and flaws as well. Its a story of love in first sight, true love with determination to find the soul mate, evil plans and conspiracies to use others for own interest, child abuse and life long prisoner.
