i want to apriciate this novel as a great comedy novel.first of all i want to read teer-e-nigah instead of this novel due to it-s rating, but due to some reasons i was unable to download it. so i viewed the list of novels and i just downpoad this novel. but after reading i reallize that it was best novel i ever read.characters were very special type.novel starts with wonderful comedy and it goes on until there comes a serious story and ends in a very unexpected and dramatic manner. i like specially the character of both father-s. Their listening , poetry , and colourful english.i also thanks this site that they are providing these books free of cast.

well it is the first time that i was reading a novel. n i really like this. actually the main thing in this novel that the writer put emphsize on the social unequality which we r facing now a days. i like the two characters kamala n saith khoobsurat. well i think that the this novel should convert into a drama.

Fun all the way.
Very humorous narration indeed.
The start is very funny. Losses the element a little bit afterwards but still I would say its a must read.

Salam to all...I-va been living in the continent of N. America for the past eleven years. Therefore I don-t get to read a whole lot in Urdu, but whtever I get, i sure appericiate it.I have read hunderds of novels and books in Urdu.I can say this without any doubt in my mind, that this is one of the best books I-ve ever read.Me liking the book is not the reason for posting this comment.It-s some of the negative commentes that made me write.Such as the one nmade by Mr. Muhammad Ashfaq, and I quote{semicolon}"Mazah likhna har kisi key bus mein naheen hein" Or the one by Badar Jahangir, and I quote again{semicolon}"kabhi na kbha tau aap acha mazah likhne ke qabil ho jayen ge"
Well guys I-ve got a news for you. The actual reason behind you not finding this book funny is, that you are simply ignorant and illiterate.
All I want to say is, if you cann-t embolden someone then you have no right to dishearten them.

Mujhay hairat hai keh loogoN nay kaisay iss kitaab kay mutaliq negative comments pass kiye haiN. Mazah Nigari meiN iss say behtar novel meiN nay nahiN parha hai. (agarceh keh iss meiN aik negative character "Alamdar" mera hi hamnam (same name) hai. LoL).
Mera khiyal hei keh jin loogoN nay iss kitaab par tanqeed ki hai, wo zamana_e_mazi (past) meiN uljhay hoe haiN, jabkeh yeh novel badaltay waqt kay hisaab say likha gia hai (i.e. there is difference between old and new Mazah Nigari), and that is why they were unable to understand the humor in this novel.
Phir yeh bhi yaad rakhaiN keh har kisi ko khush bhi nahi kia jaa sakta. Keep it up Gul.
